I love animals. Most of the art I create containing animals turns out as if they have some sort of disability. This one is rather abstract so I like it. I don't have a dog at the moment, but we have a super duper cat named "MoJo"
Bonnie Art Z Me
I am an artist, mostly experimental and mainly watercolor. Haven't been able to settle in with a true style. My goal is to buckle down and do more art. No longer will it be so far down on the things to do list that I don't get to it. Visit my website that I share with my husband, Jim at ArtZUtah.com.

Tree Orbs Watercolor Painting
This is an unfinished painting of mine. I have many. I arrive at a place where I feel stuck. Sometimes it means the painting is finished and I don't know it. Other times it will sit there for sometimes years before I pick it up again. This happens because I don't know what to do. Maybe this one needs some metallic paint.

"Blood Moon"
"Blood Moon" is a piece I created using a negative painting style. This method is time consuming and tedious but I enjoy making art this way.

Tiger Lily watercolor by Bonnie Zinanti
One day I went to the garden center with my camera and took photos of the beautiful nursery stock. I liked the one of the Tiger Lily so much that I decided to do a painting of it. I even won and award with the watercolor.

"Fish" Greeting Card
I painted this greeting card at my Monday afternoon art group. Painting small pieces seems to be where I am at right now. Fun stuff. I used watercolor paint and waterproof ink.

"Let's Play Ball" greeting card
I like to drop some juicy watercolor paint onto my greeting card size paper. Next I scrunch up some plastic kitchen wrap, unfold it a bit and lay it over my still wet paint. After that I put a heavy book on top for a couple of days until dry. When I pull off the plastic wrap look at the result to see what image is hiding there. This time an old man appeared so I gave him a red background and outlined the shapes with a fine tip art pen.

"Waterfall" original greeting card painting
I enjoy painting greeting cards. This is usually my choice to paint since time for making art is small. Sometimes I can even finish one of these in one session.
